The Equality Hour is here!

Host Jess Heagren and The Equality Hour  special guests will aim shed a light on some of the topical issues around Diversity, Inclusion and Equality in a very unboring way. 

People in insurance have become scared to talk about diversity for fear of using the wrong language or saying the wrong thing. How do we re-open the conversation?

For the first Equality Hour Jess will be joined by Cat Wildman of Powered By Diversity, she is a Diversity, Equality and Inclusion expert, a multi award winning digital product person and most importantly a mum of 3! Cat will help us demystify diversity and bring everyone back into the conversation!

Each Equality Hour event will include:

  • Education, discussion
  • Understand why it matters
  • The value diversity brings

Our host Jess Heagren is an ex-Insurance Director, mother of four, award-winning CEO of Careers After Babies and  That Works For Me, and author of landmark report Careers After Babies.Jess is on a personal mission to make the workplace equally accessible to everyone and works with businesses to make them better employers. She runs the Careers After Babies accreditation programme, is a business transformation consultant, provides ED&I consultancy and supports hiring of parents through That Works For Me.
