About the event

Taking the step out of the corporate world to become an independent consultant can be daunting.  It’s one of the reasons why those making this change often choose to join The Camelot Network:

  • To be part of something bigger,

  • To have friendly colleagues to call on for advice,

  • For ongoing support and training

Having been there and done that ourselves, we know that there are some key elements of setting up that many people find tricky, so we’ve created a workshop to help you navigate this, so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel on your own.

This workshop you will build your confidence that you can do this through

  • Crafting, refining and sharing your “lift pitch” – explaining what you do

  • Receiving insight into best practices, including:

    • How to market yourself and best use your network

    • How to decide how much to charge for your services

    • How to approach business development

  • Getting constructive top tips how to make the most of LinkedIn profile, so it is more relevant for your new role

  • Building your network at Camelot, connecting with:

    • Others at the same stage in their consulting “journey” as you

    • Experienced consultants who share their insights and advice

  • Having the opportunity to ask questions of experienced consultants and get advice on your specific challenges

Following the workshop, you can take up a 30-minute 1-1 mentor session with an experienced Camelot Expert to ensure you are set up for consulting success!
