About our panelists:

Luis Prato: Luis is a well-respected, strategic leader, who joined Liberty from AXA XL in December 2023 where he

was CUO of their Lloyd’s and UK region since 2018.

At AXA, Luis led his team of nearly 300 underwriters in the wake of two major acquisitions and

substantially grew stamp capacity at Lloyd's. Prior to that, Luis held senior roles across several

businesses, such as Head of Energy at XL Catlin, Deputy Head of Onshore Energy at AEGIS London and

Senior Underwriter at Zurich. Luis has previous experience as a Director, having been a Director of the AXA XL Underwriting Agency Ltd and AXA XL Insurance Company Ltd boards of directors, as well as the UK executive committee. In July 2024, Luis was appointed to the IUA board.

Anton Ossip: Anton has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His most recent role was CEO

of Discovery Insure in South Africa, the General Insurance division within the Discovery/Vitality

Group of companies. There Anton grew the business from a startup to a global leader in telematics-

based insurance. He was a Board member of Cambridge Mobile Telematics and remains an adviser.

Before Discovery Insure, Anton held a variety of leadership roles at the Alexander Forbes Group,

Investment Solutions and Commercial Union Life Insurance Company. He is a Fellow of the Institute

of Actuaries (UK) and has a degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics.

Tim Yorke: Tim is Group Transformation Director for the Benefact Group.
