About the event

Ignite what's next.

Some evenings are worth clearing your diary for. This is one of them.

Camelot SPARK arrives at the height of summer - and at a moment worth marking.

June is Camelot's birthday month, and this year we're celebrating the way we know best: by bringing our community together for an evening of energy, connection and the kind of conversation that actually means something.

This is not a conference. There are no prepared speeches, no panels of polished soundbites and no agenda packed so tightly there's no room to breathe. SPARK is something simpler and more valuable than that - a room full of people who genuinely care about this industry, given the time and space to connect with each other at their best.

The Conversations

Two signature sessions sit at the heart of the evening, each designed to surface a different kind of conversation - both hosted by David Clamp, Founder of Camelot.

The Up Close: Leadership Styles that Define Success

A candid, honest session exploring what it actually takes to lead at the top of insurance - and how the best leaders show up for their customers, their teams and the industry. Featuring Amy Brettell (Zurich), Dan Fiehn (Markerstudy), Suzanne Wells (The Fidelis Partnership) and Peter Blanc (Howden).

The Live Debate: Will AI Underwrite the Next Decade?

A punchy debate between technology builders and underwriting practitioners on what gets automated, what doesn't, and what it means for the people in the middle. Featuring Dan Keeler and Chris Mullan (CFC) and Ellen Gyandzhuntseva (Munich Re Specialty).

Two formats. Two very different kinds of conversation. One evening you won't forget.

The Venue & The Experience

From the moment you arrive, SPARK is designed to feel like a celebration. Premium food, a warm welcome, and an atmosphere that reflects exactly where we are - midsummer, another year in, and full of what comes next.

The conversations you'll have during a Camelot event tend to stay with you. Ideas surface that wouldn't have emerged in a meeting room. Connections are made that turn into something real. That's not accidental; it's exactly what we build these evenings for.

Whether you've been part of the Camelot community from the beginning or you're joining us for the first time, SPARK is the evening that reminds you why the relationships you build in this industry matter as much as the work itself.

Venue: Howden HQ, Mitre House, One Creechurch Lane, London EC3A 5AF

Our Event Sponsors

We're delighted to welcome SPS as the Platinum Sponsor of Camelot SPARK.

SPS is a leading provider of outsourced business process services and a transformation partner to financial institutions, combining end-to-end process ownership with digital and AI-enabled operations. In practice, that means helping financial services firms move from fragmented, manual workflows to scalable, controlled and data-driven operations. Through their Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) approach, SPS integrates process expertise, intelligent automation and human oversight - improving quality, resilience and compliance, while structurally reducing cost and complexity. For financial institutions navigating regulatory pressure, rising operational costs and the practical realities of digital transformation, SPS is the partner that turns strategic ambition into operational reality.

We're proud to have SPS supporting SPARK 2026 - and we look forward to introducing them to the Camelot community on the night.

Our Platinum Sponsors, SPS, will also be delivering a 10-minute keynote to our guests on the evening of SPARK. Hosted by Christian Schierjott, Executive Director TBS UK&I, this is definitely one not to be missed. Christian will discuss how organisations can drive efficiency, enhance decision-making, enable transformation, and improve AI outcomes by focusing on the effective capture and structuring of high-quality customer data at the point it enters the organisation - the “digital front door". We're also pleased to welcome GovernanceAI360 as a Silver Sponsor of Camelot SPARK.

GovernanceAI360 helps regulated organisations meet a problem the industry is only just starting to take seriously: providing real-time, evidence-based governance of AI. From AI inventory and immutable audit logging through to board-level dashboards mapped against FCA Consumer Duty, SMCR and EU AI Act requirements, the platform turns AI policy into operational reality.

Who is this event for?

SPARK is an intimate evening for senior insurance professionals. Places are limited and we expect demand to be high. Insurers, Brokers & MGAs: Tired of faceless conferences and vendor showcases? Looking for real connections and fresh thinking? This is where senior insurance leaders come to meet peers, not just collect business cards.

Independent Consultants & Experts: Be part of Camelot's evolution. Connect with the community that's building the genuine alternative to corporate consulting. Showcase your expertise. Expand your influence.

Solution Providers & Partners: Engage with decision-makers in a setting that actually encourages conversation. No barriers. Just opportunity to build relationships that matter.

We hope to see you there!

This is your invitation to be part of something worth showing up for. Come and celebrate with us, connect with the people who are shaping this industry, and find out what ignites next.
