A fantastic, insightful, thought provoking guest speaker, and an expert panel?... Well guess what we have that too!

Everyone is talking about AI at the moment.  But what does it all really mean?

Join Camelot, guest speaker Stephanie Hare, and a panel of insurance leaders as we unpack how we can truly use AI to improve our insurance businesses, both for the customer and for our bottom line.

We are excited to welcome to the panel:

Hugh Hessing - Group COO (designate) Direct Line Group. Adviser to Insurtech and Financial Service business on sustainable profit and growth strategies. A lifetime in FS meeting customer needs and designing and driving transformation programmes.

Paolo Cuomo - Executive Director, Gallagher Re. Paolo is an executive director in Gallagher Re’s Strategy Advisory practice. He joined in 2022, building on his experience working for Brit, Beazley, Charles Taylor, Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey. Paolo’s brings an unrelenting drive to ensure technology is effectively used across the insurance process in underwriting, claims and back-office functions.

When it comes to AI, Paolo’s view is we should bifurcate our thinking – rushing forward with “Digital Minions” to take away auxiliary tasks where the machines are better than humans, while being more nuanced in the development of “Digital Sherpas” who guide, advise, and nudge experienced humans to make them even better at their core strengths.

Maxine Goddard - With over 20 years experience in the insurance industry Maxine is senior leader at Sompo International, where she is responsible for directing and delivering strategic growth and operational change, with an exceptional focus on broker management (strategic distribution), customer experience, business development, and innovation.
